According to The Hollywood Reporter, David F. Sandberg’s Shazam! had a $80-$90 million production budget, which makes it by far the cheapest DC Extended Universe movie to be produced, as the majority of them have cost upwards to $150 million and as high as $300 million for Justice League.

The Hollywood Reporter went on to disclose the film’s budget when debunking a quote from Shazam! costume designer Leah Butler in an interview with Total Film, that Zachary Levi’s Shazam suits cost upwards to a million dollars and that there was ten suits all together.

Sources to the entertainment site went on to state that those number were widely inflated, as the New Line and Warner Bros. movie is being said to have a budget of around $80-$90 million.

Shazam! releases in theater on April 5th, 2019.
