Zack Snyder Confirms that George Miller Isn’t Involved in the DC Extended Universe

As we previously reported, a source confirmed to us that George Miller had no involvement in directing or in talks to direct a film in the DC Extended Universe, after there were reports that he was to direct Man of Steel 2 or was in talks to direct a DC property film.

The report was met with some criticism, but it turned out to be true according to Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder, who confirmed in an interview with News.com.au, that Miller isn’t on board for a DC movie, nor has he spoken to him on the idea, but states he’s completely for it.

NEWS.COM.AU: There were rumours going around that George was taking on a DC property, which got shot down. But is that something you would be keen to do in the future?

ZACK: George doing one of the DC movies? Oh my God, absolutely. George can do anything he wants, in my opinion. We haven’t talked about it, and to be frank I just didn’t know what he was thinking of doing next. But yeah, if I was to think he had any interest in them of course I’m happy to talk to him.

NEWS.COM.AU: So the phone is open to George?

ZACK: Oh my God, so open.

Of course Snyder could totally be blowing smoke and Miller is actually in talks, at least that’s what we would like to believe, as we’re totally for the idea of Miller directing a DC Extended Universe film. If he’s truly not in talks, Snyder please get on it!
