As we previously reported DOPE director Rick Famuyiwa, went on a Twitter follow rampage of DC Extended Universe cast and crew members, leading us to speculate after running down the people he ended up following and the fact The Flash is the next DC Extended Universe film to head into production after Justice League: Part , that Famuyiwa was more than likely going to be directing The Flash standalone, starring Ezra Miller.
Now it’s been confirmed by Deadline exclusively, that Famuyiwa has been hired by Warner Bros. to the helm The Flash, which is set to premiere in theaters on March 16, 2018.
