Executive producer of the The Flash Andrew Kreisberg, teases Grodd in a tweet after seeing the CGI’ed version of the character. Grodd is one of The Flash’s biggest foes in the comics, he’s a hyper-intelligent telepathic gorilla, with the power to control people’s minds.

We received our first tease of Grodd in the pilot episode, when a cage was shown with a ripped opened door, with a plate hanging from it with Grodd’s name on it. 
We then finally got out first sight of Grodd in a later episode, as he sat in the shadows, in an enclosed cage.
Grodd is coming and he’s coming very soon!
