The release date for Aquaman, which was originally set for July 27th, 2018, has been pushed back to October 5th, 2018. According to Deadline, the film will be hitting theaters in both 3D and IMAX as well.
Aquaman is the seventh film in the DC Extended Universe and will be directed by James Wan and star Jason Momoa as the title character and Amber Heard as Mera, Queen of Atlantis.
The release date for the film can be seen as a negative due to having to wait three more months for the film, but on the positive side, the month of October is a less cluttered month for movies, giving Aquaman room to do very well at the box office.
This release date also confirms that the two new dates by Warner Bros. for a DC Extended Universe film in October 2018, is actually for moving release date for Aquaman.
