According to Den of Geek, a private screening for a near finished Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was held, that received a glowing reaction and a standing ovation.
Den of Geek reports that Warner Bros. were so impressed with Ben Affleck as Batman in the film, that they are planning on cutting a deal with Affleck for 3 stand-alone Batman films for the next 10 years or so.
The article also states the following:
“Basically, Warners are now working their movie universe around Ben’s Batman,” our source tells says.
Which is great news for Batman fans, but worrisome to DC fans who don’t want to see Batman be the center character of all the DC Extended Universe, as the DC Universe within the comics has such a rich roster of characters.
Of course none of this has been officially confirmed by Warner Bros. and it’s just hearsay, with that take this report with a grain of salt until further confirmation.
