Ben Affleck Says Batman Isn’t a Movie You Can Fail Quietly At

In an interview with IGN, while promoting his latest film The Accountant, Ben Affleck who’s starring, directing and co-working the solo Batman film for the DC Extended Universe, went on to talk on the film when asked, stating he’s trying to get the right mode for the film, because it’s not he kind of movie he can fail quietly at.

“I’m in full-on, trying-to-get-it-right mode, it’s not the kind of movie that you can fail quietly at. I have to be sure I have something I feel really confident about before we go forward.”

    Ben Affleck is a great filmmaker, a serious and talented actor, writer and director. He’ll take the necessary time because this is the way to work. He takes seriously this project and the character, and is exactly how it should be. Maybe WB will officially announce the movie in the next months.
