Things are shifting over at NBC for the DC Comics comedy series Powerless, as the show’s creator and showrunner Ben Queen is exiting the series.
The start of production on the first season of midseason television series, will begin in two weeks, is being postponed as a search is underway for a new showrunner. The delay is said not to impact the premiere of Powerless on NBC, as the midseason series is still part of the NBC schedule.
It’s said the departure was a mutual decision among the writer-producer, NBC and Powerless producer Warner Bros., due to creative differences between each of the parties.
