Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn became a huge hit when David Ayer’s Suicide Squad was released and since the ending of that film many have wondered when we’ll see her chaotic return.
According to Flickering Myth, the Harley Girl Gang movie as Robbie calls it, Birds of Prey, with director Cathy Yan officially attached to direct, is going to start production in January of 2019. There’s no release exact date, but Robbie did go on to say the movie is Rated-R and is going to be a smaller budget movie.
Robbie is now promoting her new movie Terminal, so many more interviews may pop up where she reveals more, but with San Diego Comic Con 2019 right around the corner, don’t expect a confirmed movie title or release date until than.
Another interview with Yahoo News, Robbie had promoting her new film she went to say how excited she is for the film but can’t reveal the other DC characters that are appearing. She does say she loves the non-super powered heroines.
