Black Mask Set to Be the Main Villain in Birds of Prey

According to The Wrap, the villain Black Mask will be the main foe in the Cathy Yan’s directed Birds of Prey. In the comics Black Mask, who’s alias is Roman Sionis, a previously wealthy businessman, who’s failures ends up with him becoming the Batman villain Black Mask, who’s the leader of the gang False Face Society.

The Birds of Prey movie will be a spin-off to David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, with Margot Robbie returning as Harley Quinn, who’s also helping produce the project with Kroll & Co Entertainment’s Sue Kroll and Clubhouse Pictures’ Bryan Unkeless.

Christina Hodson who’s also writing the Batgirl standalone movie.

Birds of Prey still doesn’t have an official release date.
