Jai Courtney who plays Captain Boomerang in Suicide Squad confirmed during an interview with Interview Magazine, that he’s playing a straight piece of sh*t in Suicide Squad. Anyone who knows the character of Captain Boomerang knows that basically sums up the character, which confirms the film is following canon closely.

I’m doing Suicide Squad in Toronto. We’re here till the end of August. The character I’m playing is a straight piece of shit, so I’ve just been channeling that.
