The Television Critics Association took place today and the CBS Chairman Nina Tassler was once again asked about the possible crossover with Supergirl with The CW television series Arrow and The Flash.
Regardless that months have past since Tassler last spoke on it, the tone is pretty much the same as before:
“We have not had conversations about the crossovers, but we are doing crossover promotions, so we will see that with the promotion crossovers, but not in terms of the characters,” CBS Chairman Nina Tassler revealed at the Television Critics Association’s semi-annual press tour.
As for the delay when it comes to crossing story lines, the Supergirl producers may be hesitant for their heroine to crossover with Arrow and The Flash so soon because they first want to establish the character. Also, The Flash and Arrow’s big crossover event this season will be setting up midseason spin-off DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, so it might be hard to shoehorn such an important character into an already stuffed event.
