Chris Pine is officially confirmed to be returning to Patty Jenkins’s Wonder Woman 1984, as the director released the first official photo from the movie which features Pine as Steve Trevor, with the caption: “Welcome to WONDER WOMAN 1984, Steve Trevor!”
Steve Trevor was Diana Prince’s love interest in the first installment that took place in World War I, who ended up or at least assumed dying in a plane explosion. One things fans are for sure going to anticipate is how Jenkins will explain the return of Steve Trevor and the fact he doesn’t look like he age any in the 67 years since the previous movie, which took place in 1917.
