Chris Vance Cast as Non on Supergirl

According to The Hollywood Reporter actor Chris Vance has been cast as the DC Comics villain Non on Supergirl.

The character is described as the following:

A former scientist in a league with the House of El. Non is a brutal Kryptonian military officer who is sinister, powerful and angry. He’s the antithesis of all things Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stands for. Non will quickly become Supergirl’s greatest threat.

Non was created by Superman 1978 director Richard Donner for the film, Superman II and has since been featured in the comics.

Supergirl producers Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler and Andrew Kreisberg have stated that Non on the CBS television series will have slightly different take on the character.
