Ciaran Hinds Cast as Steppenwolf in Justice League

According exclusively to The Wrap, Ciaran Hinds of Game of Thrones has been cast as Steppenwolf, who is said to be the main villain for Justice League.The report says that Hinds wrapped production on the character recently, which was done all in motion capture. It’s also stated that the character’s look is an upgraded from what was shown in the deleted scene in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Steppenwolf in DC Comics is a supervillain, who’s a New Gods and the uncle of Darkseid, who’s the main supervillain in the DC Comics Universe. Steppenwolf is also part of Darkseid’s Elite and leads the military of Apokolips, which is the New Gods planet and ruled by Darkseid.
