Director Darren Aronofsky during an interview for his latest film Mother, was asked if he had to choose one superhero he would like to make a movie on, Aronofsky went on to say that he would be interested in directing a Superman movie, but then goes on to say he won’t be able to, due to the character is already deep into being reinvented.
“I mean, you know, Superman would always be interesting. But they’re already deep into reinventing him, so that’s not going to happen for a long time.”
Man of Steel 2 still doesn’t have a director or a release date, but fans are heavily rooting for Warner Bros. to officially start the ball rolling in the production on the sequel, so any director showing interest in directing a Superman film, is always being embraced by fans.
