Suicide Squad director David Ayer went on Twitter to stand by his film, regardless of the negative reviews put out by film critics, in his tweets he stands he quotes Emiliano Zapata, who was a leading figure in the Mexican Revolution. The Spanish quote he used, translate to “I’d rather die standing than live on my knees”, Ayer went on to say he loves the movie and believes in it.
