Dominic Cooper Nears Deal To Lead In Preacher

According to The Wrap, Dominic Cooper (Captain America, Agent Carter) is close to signing on to star in the Preacher. If cast he will be the leading the series as Jesse, who is the Preacher.

This has been rumored for a few months now, but we never reported on it because all the sources seeming a bit untrustworthy, but now it’s coming from The Wrap, which is a much more reliable source.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (This is The End, Neighbors, The Interview) are directing and as well as writing along with Sam Catlin (Breaking Bad) for AMC, meanwhile James Weaver (This is The End, Neighbors, The Interview) will oversee the series.
