Director Doug Limana, who was on-board to direct Justice League Dark, recently spoke with Cinema Blend regarding why he decided to walk away from directing the film.

In the interview, in which Limana was promoting his latest film The Wall, went on to talk about what happened after being asked, basically stating that the script wasn’t specula enough for him to take on the film.

“You know, I develop more movies than I make, there’s a weed-out process, and it’s just that when you get to the comic book one, suddenly everybody hears about them. So, the script never got to a place that was special enough for me. Not for lack of trying.”
