As we reported months ago, actress Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver) was being heavily speculated by fans to have been cast as Zatanna in Justice League Dark, back when production for the film actually looked to be in progression.
Though since that wave of speculation hit, it got quiet among fans, more so when no real announcement was made in regards to possible casting for the film, let alone if Eiza Gonzalez even cared for the character or the possible role.
That was until this past May, when Gonzalez right under our noses, liked a tweet wishing Zatanna a Happy Birthday.

Zatanna is one of the lead characters in Justice League Dark, if not the lead female character next to that of John Constantine. Right now Gonzalez is an up and coming actress who’s getting traction in Hollywood. One can only assume a studio like Warner Bros. would love to snatch up for their current successful franchise that is the DC Extended Universe.
