Entertainment Weekly got the exclusive first look at James Wan’s Aquaman, as the movie is featured on two different covers for the entertainment magazine which will be on newsstands this Friday. One cover features Jason Momoa as Aquaman, while the other features Momoa along with Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna and Amber Heard as Mera.
In the feature article Wan goes on to say the following in regards to the world the movie will take place in:
“The water world my movie takes place in is so separate and so far apart from previous DC movies it’s like I’m making my own sci-fi fantasy film,” Wan says. “This is a whole new underwater world nobody has seen before in live action.”
Aquaman releases in theaters on December 21st 2018.
