Here’s the actor on the set of Fox’s Gotham, where he’s once again playing the type of character he won an Emmy portraying in FX’s The Shield: The super-tough cop — only this officer is pretty different, morality-wise, than Vic Mackey.
Chiklis plays Captain Nathaniel Barnes, a “law and order zealot who lands on the GCPD like a tornado, ripping out the dead wood of Gotham’s police force.” Chiklis is a series regular and introduced in the fourth episode of Gotham season 2, titled “Strike Force”.
