According to Omega Underground, which is rarely wrong when it comes to their scoops on DC Films productions locations, Warner Bros. is supposedly eyeing Vancouver, Canada to be the location of The Flash solo movie Flashpoint.
Canada has already became the home of two productions of the DC Extended Universe, with David Ayer’s Suicide Squad and David F. Sandberg’s Shazam, which is currently in production, both movies filming locations were in Toronto, Canada.
Vancouver is also the home of many of the DC Television series from current to past, such as Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, iZombie and Smallville, it won’t be an unfamiliar location for a DC Comics production and it’ll be nice for the first standalone Flash movie to have a familiar look to it as the current popular The CW television series.
Flashpoint will star Ezra Miller as the titled character and will be directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who are also writing the script. No production start date or release date has been confirmed by the studio as of yet.
