FOX has officially renewed Gotham for a third season, according the network on Wednesday and by actor Ben McKenzie, who plays Jim Gordon on the hit television series, confirmed the renewal on his Twitter.This renewal shouldn’t come as much of a surprise as Gotham has done very well in the rating through season 2, barely seeing a drop off in the numbers from season 1.
