Helen Slater and Dean Cain Casted in Supergirl

According to TVLine the original Supergirl Helen Slater, from the 1984’s Supergirl movie and Dean Cain who played Superman on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman have both been cast as guest spots for the Supergirl television series pilot episode, that’ll be airing this fall on CBS.

This won’t be the first time both have guest spotted on a DC Entertainment television series, as both appeared on Smallville. Slater played Kal-El’s mother Lara and Dean Cain played immortal Dr. Curtis Knox.

Details on who they’ll be playing in the pilot is being kept a secret for the time being and we may not even know until the pilot episode airs.
