Henry Cavill during a press junket interview in Brazil for his latest film Man From U.N.C.L.E, was asked by the interviewer (who’s wearing a Batman t-shirt), if being asked Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice questions are annoying, which Cavill joked that people who wear Batman shirts were most annoying and Armie Hammer who was set to play Batman in Justice League Moral chimed in to say he “hates” people who were Batman shirts.

After they were finished joking about that, Cavill was then asked by the interviewer what his thoughts were on the complaints some people have towards the superhero genre, as the interviewer pointed out, that there’s always been many spy films over the years and just year alone there were more spy films than superhero films.

Cavill had this to say on the topic:

“That’s an interesting question actually, I think it’s anything which is relevant and on top, people will complain about. At the moment Superhero genre is the most prevalent sorta genre out there and despite that the spy genre is so strong this year. But that’s the nature of it. I mean, I think it’s one of those decade long genre the superhero thing, it’s just going to keep on going and people will complain about it all the time of course. But they’ll be the secondary genre each year will change, this year just happens to be spy.”
