As we previously reported, the superhero Red Tornado has been confirmed to be appearing in Supergirl in an upcoming episode for the CBS television series first season.
ComicBook.com exclusively confirmed that Iddo Goldberg (Salem, Peaky Blinders) has been cast as Dr. T.O. Morrow who in the DC Comics is inspired by his name to devote himself to studying the future and becomes the inventor of the android, Red Tornado.
In their article ComincBook.com points out that they aren’t sure if Iddo Goldberg will also be playing Red Tornado as well, as it’s possible that Supergirl would change the canon of the character and go with a storyline that Dr. T.O. Morrow ends up becoming Red Tornado as well.
We personally hope they’re two separate characters, as Red Tornado has always been an android.
