The Suicide Squad director James Gunn confirmed through a reply to a fan’s tweet on knowing what the rating for movie will be, but he can’t say yet.
Most fans will all agree they hoped David Ayer’s first installment Suicide Squad would be rated R, sadly it ended up becoming PG-13, now fans are hoping Warner Bros. will bite the bullet and go R with Gunn’s second installment.

The Suicide Squad will starMargot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman and Viola Davis, who all will being reprising their roles from David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, alongside the new additions of Taika Waititi, Peter Capaldi, Idris Elba, John Cena, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, David Dastmalchian and Daniela Melchior
The Suicide Squad is slated to be released in theaters on August 6th, 2021.
