The Suicide Squad director James Gunn has gone to his official Twitter once again to response at fan’s questions in regards to his upcoming Suicide Squad movie, this time he answered a fan who was wondering on how he would describe his take on Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie).
Gunn goes on to describe his take on the character as “Exploding Paul Dini-esque”. In reference to animator and comic creator Paul Dini, who created and introduced the character of Harley Quinn into Batman lore with Bruce Timm, in Batman: The Animated Series back in 1994.
This news can only make original Harley Quinn fans very happy on what they can expect from Robbie’s portrayal of the character in The Suicide Squad next year.
Exploding Paul Dini-esque. Cc @Paul_Dini. Also that Easter Egg guess was probably more like 70% now that I think about it. Who’s next?
