Aquaman director James Wan goes on to explain how the underwater dialogue would work in the movie in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, as what was seen in Justice League, left many fans questioning and even criticizing the fact Arthur (Jason Momoa) and Mera (Amber Heard) needed an air bubble to be able to talk to each other.
Wan previously debunk the air bubble effect being used in his movie in a Tweet, soon after Justice League was released and the criticizing began, Wan went on to confirm, that no air bubbles for dialogue in his underwater world.
💪🏋️♀️ Fret not, no “air bubbles for dialogue” in my underwater world. https://t.co/rRbWp2Ejfd

Now in his most recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Wan goes on to once again say it’s not going to happen:
“People are overthinking it,” Wan says. “They’re just gonna talk!”
Aquaman releases in theaters on December 21, 2018.
