I hate contrived “hero vs hero” stories. Not ALL of them, just the ones that make no sense.

Batman V Superman works, because the events of Man of Steel could reasonably cause fear or distrust from another hero who doesn’t know Superman.

But in this case, the reason for these two teams to fight is totally stupid. They know each other. They’re allies. The Teen Titans are a bunch of sidekicks who are trying to protect one of their own from a demon. Why would the Justice League elect to fight their own teenage proteges, instead of working with them? Why would the JL choose to imprison a child based on something terrible she MIGHT eventually do, rather than try to save her from that fate? Not very heroic of them. Totally out of character. And for that reason, the entire premise falls apart. There’s NO reason for them to fight each other, other than plot-induced stupidity.
