Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Terminator) has been cast as the superhero Obsidian in the second season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Obsidian will be one of the members of Justice Society of America on the series, which includes Patrick J. Adams as Hourman, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Vixen, Matthew MacCaull as Commander Steel and Sarah Grey as Star Girl.
No other details have been released regarding the role of Obsidian on the series, such as what his powers will be exactly, but in the comics the character was able to merge with his own shadow, allowing him to fly and pass through solid objects, while also possessing the shadows of others.
