Lauren German Female Lead in Lucifer

According to Deadline, Lauren German (Chicago Fire) has been cast as the female lead in the FOX’s pilot episode of Lucifer, opposite Tom Ellis.

Lucifer is a live action television series adaptation of the DC/Vertigo comic book series with the same name.

German will play Chloe Dancer, an LAPD homicide detective who finds herself both repulsed and fascinated by Lucifer. As they work together to solve a murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness.
