In the latest LEGO Batman game Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, after beating the game a very interesting set of silhouettes appear. Silhouettes that look very much like Marvel’s Avengers.
Comicbookmovie.com has a full article breaking down the clues that hint at a very possible chance we may receive a LEGO DC Comics and Marvel crossover, team up game… well at least we’re hoping it’s a team up game and not a DC vs. Marvel game– that’s the last thing we need in this day and age!
After beating the game, the player will be treated by a scene in which a janitor finds several silhouettes of what look to be Marvel heroes. Startled, the janitor flees and the scene shows deliberately-designed silhouettes resembling Spider-Man, Black Widow, Captain America, the Hulk, Thor, Iron Man and Hawkeye.
…Except TT Games was pulling our feet a second time and instead gave us a comical scene of DC’s superheroes in place of Marvel’s. Nightwing was the baton-dangling Spider-Man, the conveniently-named Black Canary was Black Widow, Aquaman was the false Captain America raising his shield, Swamp-Thing was mimicking Hulk’s stance, Shazam looked like he was Thor holding his coffee mug in the air, the mid-air Booster Gold gave off his best Iron Man impression and unsurprisingly Green Arrow was Hawkeye.
