The LEGO Batman video game has been awarded a Guinness World Record for being the best selling superhero game in the Guinness World Record Gamers Edition, that can be purchased now.
LEGO Batman: The Videogame is the best-selling videogame based on a superhero, batting off the opposition with a cool 12.63 million copies sold as of June 10th, 2014. By comparison, Batman: Arkham City has sold 9.94 million copies. LEGO Batman’s success also makes it the best-selling game based on a DC Comics character.
The Traveller’s Tales team received the award at the Brick 2014 – Built for Lego® Fans event, that took place today in London England.
