Lucifer premiered with the second highest rating for Monday night, with a 2.4/7 in the rating demographic of adults 18-49 and with a viewership of 7.15 million.

Surely these numbers were the result of The X-Files being the lead-in for the premiere episode, as The X-Files was Monday night’s winner. Time will only tell if Lucifer’s premiere numbers will hold, when The X-Files six-episode event ends and Gotham returns the lead-in for Lucifer.
