Lynda Carter who played Wonder Woman in the 1970’s television series, confirmed in an interview with People that she was actually set to appear in Wonder Woman, but due to timing it didn’t work out.
Carter goes on to say she’s absolutely opened to appear in a sequel if Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, who’s set to direct the sequel is up to it.
“We were trying to get me in the first one and we couldn’t make it work with our timing. It really is up to Patty, and if it works in an organic way it’ll be great fun and it’ll be wonderful to do. Am I open to it? Absolutely. I ADORE Patty Jenkins, and it’ll be wonderful to do. But we’ll just see how that goes.”
The sequel to Wonder Woman has yet to have a script or an official production or release date.
