Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones) who was set to direct the first solo Wonder Woman film starring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, has left the project due to creative differences with Warner Bros. reports Variety.
“Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct ‘Wonder Woman’ together,” the studio said in a statement.
This comes as disappointing news as MacLaren is very talented and was a fan favorite for the job.
Variety also reports that Jason Fuchs (Pan) is still on board to pen the script and that four scripts have been sent out for a male character, that’s a lead and it’s said to be Steve Trevor.
