Jeremy Irons has more to say on how his Alfred Pennyworth is going to be like in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, after giving us a taste earlier this week.

“Oh he’ll be quite different. He has an interesting history. He’s a very competent man. He’s the sort of man I think anyone would like to be married to. He can sort of do everything: change light bulbs, blow up bridges if he has to.”

With these recent comments, it pretty much confirms that Zack Synder is going Batman Year One with this version of Alfred, much like the version we’re seeing on Gotham.
