Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, once again goes on to talk on the idea of a sequel to the very soon to be released Wonder Woman movie, in a recent interview with Fandango.
Jenkins goes on to say it’s something she’s very interested in doing a sequel to the film, that at the moment is getting great word of mouth.
“It’s definitely something I’m very, very, very interested,” she said. “I love what we’ve created and I love the team that I worked with doing it and these actors so much that, yeah, we’re all very excited to talk about continuing forward together.”
She goes on to say how it’s very important to make Wonder Woman an international superhero and she’s looking forward to bringing her to America, even though we did see Diana in America in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the movie was directed by Zack Snyder.
“I think it’s very important that she goes on to be a very international superhero,” Jenkins said. “I can’t wait to bring her to America as well.”
Regarding if a sequel will happen, Jenkins goes on to say we’ll know soon, we assume the studio is most likely waiting on Wonder Woman’s boxoffice numbers before they officially put their stamp of approval.
“It’s something that one will know soon,” she said. “Like, what she has been doing all of these years, but it’s definitely something I have thought a lot about.”
