Ray Fisher who first appeared as the character of Cyborg/Victor Stone in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, then was fully introduced in Justice League, was slated to appear in his own standalone Cyborg movie that was meant to be released in theater on April 3rd of this year.
Clearly that never happened, as the movie never took off beyond the development stages and due to the poor critical, fan and box office response to Justice League , it seemed like Warner Bros. gave up on developing the film beyond the casting of Fish as Victor Stone and Joe Morton as Silas Stone.
Now we have some hope that the movie is still in the works at the least, as Fisher during a Twitch recording was asked by fans on the Cyborg movie, in which Fisher went on to say the following:
“I know there are plans in the works. How privy am I to those plans? I cannot say.”
