Robert Gant Cast as Zor-El in Supergirl

According exclusively to Supergirl.tv, Robert Gant has been cast as Kara’s biographical father, Zor-El. This casting news comes after the shooting of the pilot episode and Supergirl.tv states that Gant has already shot his scenes for the episode.

Zor-El in the DC Comics was a Kryptonian scientist, the father of Kara Zor-El and the brother of Superman’s father Jor-El who dies when Krypton is destroyed.

This casting hasn’t been officially confirmed by CBS or anyone attached to the series, but Supergirl.tv has a good track record.
