Social Media Reactions to Birds of Prey Coming Out January 29th

According to Rotten Tomatoes critic Kirsten Acuna, the first social media reactions to Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey will be taking place on Wednesday, January 29th.

Acuna went on to Twitter to tweet that in less than a week she’ll be seeing Birds of Prey and the first social reaction will be coming out Wednesday afternoon. If this is true, that means reviews might come off at least a week before the premiere date for the movie. This could be seen as good or bad news regarding what the critical reviews might be, as normally if a studio is extremely proud of one of their films they are quick to get reaction from critics out weeks prior to the film’s release.

Though Warner Bros. lifting the reaction embargo over a week prior to the movie’s release can also be seen as a good thing, as it at least indicates they aren’t trying to hide the early reactions from critics.
