Suicide Squad continues to break records for the month of August, by having the biggest box office for Monday for the month of August, with $13.1 million.
But what’s more impressive is its Tuesday box office, which increased by 9% from Monday, coming in with $14.27 million and beating out not only the August record that was set by Guardians of the Galaxy with $11.9 million, but outpacing other comic book films such as Captain America: Civil War’s $13.76 million, Avengers: Age of Ultron‘s $13.1 million and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice‘s $12.7 million.
