As we previously reported Suicide Squad is featured in the December issue of Empire Magazine, out on newsstand now, with a limited edition cover featuring Jared Leto as The Joker.

Within the issue not only did we receive a set of new photos of The Joker and the squad, we also got new details the film and its characters.

According to ComicBookMovie.com, in the issue a scene is described that features Deadshot, El Diablo, Captain Boomerang, Slipknot, Harley Quinn and Killer Croc on board of a helicopter, joined by Navy SEALs all led by Rick Flag, who then introduces Katana with dialog by  Rick Flag and Harley Quinn:

“She’s got my back,” Flag informs the Squad. “I’d advise not getting killed by her – her sword traps the souls of its victims.” Harley extends her hand, perky and smirky. “Harley Quinn, nice to meetcha. Love your perfume. What is that: Stench of Death?”

The scene carries on with a moment with Killer Croc, where he throw up half digested goat meat on the floor of the helicopter, then scoops it back up and re-eats it, which makes the Navy SEALs recoil in disgust.

There’s also character details on a few of the squad members:

Katana:

“She has morals and codes. She’s can also slice through hundreds of people without taking a breath.”

Slipknot:

“He’s formidable. He can climb anything. And he hangs people for a living. I joke that he was caught strangling Wonder Woman. I downloaded this app called Grog Knots. Now I could tie up a horse.”

Captain Boomerang:

“He’s an absolute bogan, in the purest sense. Dave’s first instruction was, ‘Find your inner shitbag.'”

El Diablo

“Most of these guys are happy to get out there and kill people, but he just wants to stay out of the fight.”

Killer Croc:

“He’s a cannibal with rage issues. Although he only eats the most talented people. He’s picky.”

Rick Flag:

“Flag is the highest level operator working for the government. He’s had lots of friends die and has killed many, many people. Deadshot gives him the most problems. Harley is easily distracted, but up for following orders if it means destroying things…”
