According to BoxOffice.com, Suicide Squad opened with positive numbers in 7 oversea markets for their first day opening on Wednesday, with $8.1 million.
The film had a $2.9 million debut from 732 screens in South Korea, making it the second biggest opening day of all time for Warner Bros., the biggest August opening day of all time for a U.S. film and the fourth biggest bow for a superhero flick. While it made $2.7 million on 667 screens in France, and $564k in Sweden from 147.
The film is set to open in more markets today, including big markets like Russia, Australia, and Brazil.
