Suicide Squad Outpacing Batman v Superman in Home Video Sales

According to The-Numbers, in the first three weeks Suicide Squad has sold 1.6 million Blu-Rays to that of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s 1.5 million, for a total of sale of $48,416,041 compared to that of Batman v Superman’s $39,156,850. 

On the DVD Suicide Squad sold 971,026 to that of Batman v Superman’s 619,096 units for $18,208,479 verse $11,118,964 in the first two weeks.

Suicide Squad isn’t only outpacing Batman v Superman, it’s also topping other comic book films that were released in 2016 such as Deadpool and Captain America: Civil War. In the span of three weeks, Suicide Squad is the 8th best-selling Blu-Ray of 2016.
