As of this morning CBS CEO Les Moonves has confirmed at Deutsche Bank Media, Internet & Telecom Conference that about five of the network’s new series will be back next fall.
With this information and seeing the ratings for Supergirl through its first season run, it’s pretty much a confirmation that one of the five new series that will be picked up for a second season by CBS will be Supergirl.
“We have about five new shows on this year,” he says. “Of those five, I believe all five of them will be renewed, and we own four of them.”
