The CBS television series Supergirl will be officially receiving a digital comic serious titled Adventures of Supergirl.
DC Comics writer Sterling Gates, who’s known to also write for Supergirl comics, will be penning the new title, which will be drawn by rotating artists Bengal, Jonboy Meyers, Emanuela Lupacchino, and Emma Vieceli.
The comic will be a 13-chapter, bi-weekly comic that will be released on Mondays, the same air date as the series, that’ll won’t directly tie into the show, but will tell stories in that universe with Supergirl teaming with the DEO to protect National City while also working a job at CatCo as Kara Danvers, while fighting classic DC Comics villains like Rampage, Vril Dox, and Psi.
Once the series is completed it’ll then be made into a graphic novel, and not a monthly comic book like other DC Television series.
