According to the travel site Guide to Canary Islands, the next installment to Patty Jenkins’s Wonder Woman, will also be filming on the Spain’s Canary Island, Tenerife, confirmed by the authorities from Cabildo de Tenerife.
The island will be the scene for outdoor shoots, most likely for landscape scenes for Themyscira, as the island has diverse natural landscapes that would fit perfectly for the overall look of the Amazonians paradise.
The Wonder Woman sequel is set to begin shooting this upcoming Summer, with locations such as the United Kingdom and United States being confirmed. Patty Jenkins returns to helm the movie, while Gal Gadot returns as the title character, with Kristen Wiig playing the main villain, Cheetah.
Wonder Woman 2 releases in theaters on November 1st, 2019.
